Homespire is an Intermountain Healthcare company created through Intermountain’s partnership with Lifesprk. It brings Lifesprk’s proven whole person senior care approach to Utah to serve seniors and their families. Through Homespire, Intermountain will fill gaps in community support for seniors and families, provide ongoing continuity of care deeper in the community, and provide a seamless experience of care.

Recognizing the benefit of strong private-pay home care capabilities within its continuum, Intermountain engaged in a comprehensive regional then national search and determined Lifesprk to be the best partner because of their shared values, innovative Life Care approach, and ability to serve Intermountain’s entire service area.

This partnership combines Intermountain’s strong market reputation as a world-class health care provider with Lifesprk’s ability to deliver its proven Life Care model to further advance our mutual mission for helping people remain in their homes longer, living healthy independent lives.

About Lifesprk

Lifesprk was founded in 2004, but its history has deeper roots. Several of Lifesprk’s leaders worked together for more than 10 years prior to launching Lifesprk, which was originally known as AgeWell, in the Twin Cities market.

Frustrated by the fact that existing health and senior services didn’t go far enough to address the root issues that prevented people from living life on their terms – what Lifesprk calls a ‘sparked life’ – they set out to change that.

The goal: to create a new model of support that uses a whole person approach to senior care that helps people build a pathway to their goals – whatever those goals may be, and to provide the guidance, support, and resources seniors and their families need to handle or prevent anything that may get in their way.
